You are invited to be an underwriter of this event - please scroll down to see underwriting blank

Dear Friends,

IAG Productions and Apple-Eye Productions are pleased to present “An Evening of Music with Rachel Loshak and Morgan Taylor” to be held on Sunday, February 16th at Kleinert/James Center for the Arts, Byrdcliffe at Woodstock, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  This fundraising concert will benefit Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley.  I hope that you will join us in making this a very special evening.

While Planned Parenthood tries its best to bring reproductive health services to a wide spectrum of men and women, some members of Congress are bent on taking away these basic rights.

Women in our community and everywhere should have the freedom to make their own decisions about their reproductive health, their pregnancies, their families and their future.  In my view, access to sex education and birth control is the best way to avoid abortions.

I invite you to be an underwriter of our fundraising concert.  Your support of this exciting event will help Planned Parenthood to continue to carry out its mission despite the obstacles and opposition it faces.

Please choose from the giving levels below and send your check to PPMHV on or before February 7th so that we may list you on the program, which will go to print on February 10th.

Yours sincerely,

Rachel Jackson

Rachel Loshak moved to New York City in the late Nineties from Suffolk, England and honed her songwriting craft with her unique ‘bass and voice’ style. Rachel has created four full-length LP’s: Firefly (2001), Mint (2003), Peach Pony (2005) (including a duet with Norah Jones) and Colors (2010). Peach Pony was released in several international territories to critical acclaim.  Rachel sang onstage with Norah Jones at the Grammy™ Awards in 2003 and is featured alongside her (and with Jesse Harris) on the Best of the Living Room compilation released in 2002.  Rachel has recorded vocals with Moby, as well as Chris Ballew of Presidents Of The United States' family music project, Caspar Babypants on his album Sing Along (2011).  Rachel has toured in The United States as well as internationally to Ireland, the UK, France, Germany, Scandinavia and South Korea.  Rachel also lent her vocal talents to the Grammy™ Winning album Can You Canoe? (2013) by The Okee Dokee Brothers.

In 2005 Rachel co-founded Apple-eye Productions with her husband Morgan Taylor to create an outlet for their creative projects, including Gustafer Yellowgold.  Her role as manager, business administrator and creative graphic production designer, has led to the project to becoming a nationally known and critically acclaimed family-entertainment brand.

SO BRIGHT, Rachel’s deepest and most mature studio album yet was produced by Grammy ™ winning producer Dean Jones at No Parking studio in Rosendale NY. Keeping the focus on Rachel’s unique bass and vocal foundation, rich layers of harmony, violin, piano, organ, percussion, French horn and alto flute were added in support of Rachel’s intimate and hauntingly melodic songs of love, motherhood, friendship and death.

Rachel is joined on SO BRIGHT by an incredible cast of musicians and singers including Dean Jones on drums, percussion and keyboards. Frances England, Jennifer Lewis Bennett and Debbie Lan on backing vocals.  Kirsten Jacobsen on alto flute, as well as Rob Jost on French Horn, Chris Brown on piano and Hammond organ, Dan Rieser on percussion and guest pianist Lori Henriques.

Rachel now lives in the Catskills with Morgan and their two sons, Harvey and Ridley.

Announcing our upcoming project: "An Evening of Music with Rachel Loshak and Morgan Taylor" on February 16, 2014

We are pleased to announce that our next project is a musical event dubbed "An Evening of Music with Rachel Loshak and Morgan Taylor," to be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Kleinert/James Art Center for the Arts at Byrdcliffe, 6:00 - 8:00 PM.  We are producing this event in conjunction with Apple-Eye Productions, behind which are these two charming and talented artists.  They will be performing songs from her recently released album "So Bright."  In addition they will preview some new songs that will be part of her next, yet-untitled album that's already in the works.  Rachel and Morgan have graciously offered their time and energy to this event, which will benefit Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley.

We hope that you will come out in full force to support these two young singer-songwriters and in so doing support Planned Parenthood as well!  See you then!
